Ethics

  • acknowledgement

Branch & Sea recognises First Nations Turrbal and Jagera peoples as the true owners and custodians of the lands we work and live on. Acknowledging that sovereignty was never ceded and that Treaty and Land Back are the way forward for Climate Justice. Branch & Sea stands in solidarity with First Nations people of Australia and Zenadeth Kes, recognising their ongoing fight and survival against systems of racism and oppression.

  • intersectionality

Through ongoing learning Branch & Sea acknowledges that sustainability can only be pursued through recognising the intersections between social, racial and environmental justice. The community intersections between, LGBQTIA+, disabled, Black, First Nations and people of colour that constitute the Global Majority are most impacted by social, racial and environmental injustice. Branch & Sea accepts responsibility as a business to prioitise intersectional sustainability through ongoing anti-racist learning and only collaborating with anti-racist businesses.
